Park View Community Mission
Our Mission is to restore the lives of families and communities by building relationships and providing life-changing resources. We are most well-known for our help, providing food and clothing for those in need.​ We want to do more by offering an opportunity for healing… restoring lives by helping people develop new skills and utilize resources to build their own bridge from their present circumstances toward a better lifestyle. In all we do we seek to build personal relationships. We want our neighbors to know that they are loved and that they can find the hope that everyone needs to live a full and purposeful life. Park View Community Mission engages with the Lynchburg community through the utilization of six different service programs.
Bethany Hall
Bethany Hall is a board licensed 12- bed residential facility that offers high intensity Substance Use Disorder treatment for women, including those who are pregnant or postpartum, for lengths of stay up to 120 days. They utilize a therapeutic community approach, which is an evidence-based program that focuses on the behavioral aspects of addiction, including accepting responsibility, planning and goal-setting and developing a positive value system. This is achieved through individual, group, and family counseling sessions, as well as other essential life skills training that is provided in collaboration with other nonprofits in the community.
Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center
The Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center is dedicated to helping men and women faced with an unplanned pregnancy. All their services are free of charge, including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, post-abortion help, and pregnancy and life coaching classes. Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center is committed to your personal care. They desire to walk alongside you during your time of need by offering free and confidential peer to peer counseling as well as using their resources to connect you to a caring community who will have a positive impact on your life for years to come.
